We had such a wonderful stay in 2 Meadow Retreat. The lodge is finished to an incredible standard, and the jacuzzi, sauna and cinema room were great. It's the perfect place to relax, and has everything you'd need. The site itself is quiet and peaceful, but easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Fishing holidays in stunning Devon
If your are a family that is passionate about fishing, or have a keen angler in the family, Stafford Moor is the ideal location for your fishing holiday in Devon. With all the fishing facilities you could need, including 7 lakes and a well stocked tackle shop, you can drop your line and fish until your heart's content.
Those in the family who have not yet caught the fishing bug will appreciate our stunning surroundings, beautiful accommodation and close proximity to Devon days out. Our accommodation is designed with fisher folk in mind, with tackle storage, private pegs and private swims all available as well as use of all the pleasure lakes. If you don't want to miss out on the chance to catch a Beatties Big Boy, book one of our two Specimen loddges: Cherry or Silver Birch which have private swims; or if you are staying in our other accommodation make sure you book ahead!
Please note - our fishing lakes are closed from 3rd Jan - 7th February 2025.
Hot tub holiday lodges
Whether you've had a full day of fishing or a day out exploring, the perfect end to a Stafford Moor day is a dip in one of our lakeside hot tubs. We have three lodges offering private hot tub facilities, all with outstanding views and amazing interior comfort too. Look out for Silver Birch and Cherry two lodges on our extra special Specimen lake: Beatties and also keep an eye out for our one and only super lodge: Hollywood which overlooks popular Tanners Lakes and comes with its own private peg.
Dog friendly breaks
We'd love to have you and your furry friends join us for a stay! Whether you're setting up camp at one of our electric hook-up pitches or choosing to stay in our delightful lodges, you're welcome to bring along up to two well-mannered dogs. All our accommodations are dog-friendly and we can't wait to see your pup's tail wagging with joy as they discover all the exciting exploration spots. Plus, many of our lodges boast private garden areas, perfect for you and your pet to unwind in the great outdoors! Fancy a beach day? Head off to the coast for a scamper along the sandy shores.

Positioned conveniently within reach of the North Devon coast, our location also offers you the chance to dive into the traditional charm of the South Devon Coast within just an hour's journey. Not far from our park, the majestic national parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor await, inviting you to embark on thrilling walks across their heather-strewn heaths and meander along rivers leading to captivating waterfalls cascading towards the sea. With North Cornwall just a stone's throw away, you can indulge in a classic Devon cream tea with the jam on top, then pop over the border to try it the Cornish way. Families are spoilt for choice with a plethora of outdoor activities, nearby attractions, and theme parks.
Even a glimpse of city life is within reach with the Cathedral city of Exeter and its pretty canal walks nearby.
