Meadow Retreat – 5 Plots Available
Meadow Retreat is our newest development at Southern Halt, offering a rare chance to own a holiday home in one of the most peaceful corners of Cornwall. Set among beautifully landscaped grounds with its own private gated entrance, this exclusive area promises both privacy and a real connection to nature.
Choose from 14, 15 and 16 Meadow Retreat: three sunny, south-facing plots that enjoy views over tranquil ponds, or opt for 18 or 19 Meadow Retreat, two premium plots with sweeping countryside views and extra space to make your own. Each generously sized plot has room for a large decking and features such as a hot tub, perfect for relaxing and watching the meadow scenery change with the seasons. With a quiet, countryside setting just a short drive from Cornwall’s South Coast and Bodmin Moor, Meadow Retreat is the ideal spot to create a bespoke holiday home where you can truly switch off and unwind.
Faraway Fields & Southern Place
At Southern Halt, 8 and 3 Faraway Fields and 3 Southern Place offer some of the most private and spacious plots, with generous landscaped gardens creating privacy for each lodge. These areas are ideal if you’re looking for extra seclusion, with large plots, natural landscaping, and plenty of space to shape your outdoor living exactly how you want it.

Choose from striking models from Prestige like the Tempest, the sleek Glass House, or the stylish Cassa; opt for the Keepers Lodge from Pathfinder or the Sunseeker Ashdon, each offering its own unique design, finish, and feel. You can also work with us to create a completely bespoke lodge, tailored to your vision from Timberventure. Single-unit holiday homes start from £99,000, while larger luxury lodges up to 50' x 22' start from £225,000. Once you’ve chosen your model or design, we handle everything, from ordering and siting to getting it ready for you to enjoy. Site fees start from £4,800 per year depending on your plot, and every lodge comes with a 99-year holiday licence, giving you years of stress-free holiday escapes in the Cornish countryside.
The Tempest
