The refuse and recycling bins are located within the fenced area near the entrance to the site. We can recycle glass, card, metals, paper and plastic.
Dogs & horses
We love dogs on site and are always happy to say hello, but please clean up after your pet. Dog waste bins are located throughout our resorts, so please help keep our green spaces clean.
Please be aware of the following:
• Dogs must remain on a lead at all times when outside your lodge.
• Well-behaved dogs are welcome in The Old Mill Bar & Restaurant and on the decking outside.
• Dog water bowls are provided at The Old Mill bar & Restaurant
• There are many bridle paths around Stonerush Lakes, so please be aware there may be horses around.
Wildlife & grounds
Please help us to respect the natural environment around your lodge and do not dispose of rubbish into anything other than the bins provided.
Please do not feed the wildlife, as it may encourage unwanted rodents.
Life rings should only be used in emergency. Unreasonable or irresponsible damage/destruction of the safety equipment is unacceptable and will be charged to the guest.
Your health and safety
Making sure you are safe and secure during your stay here is of utmost importance to us.
So PLEASE do read the following notes carefully to ensure you’re taking all the necessary precautions to remain in the best of health whilst enjoying your break.
General
Please respect your neighbours and keep the noise down, especially after sunset. In order to ensure the grounds are kept well maintained, please park your car in the designated parking area and never on any grassed areas around the site. All cars are parked entirely at the owner’s risk, with only the number of cars adequate to the space provided. Any additional cars should be parked in the designated overflow car parks on the sites.

Due to the wooden construction of the lodges and decking areas, we regret that these are not permitted, in addition to any other naked flames. Smoking is NOT permitted inside any lodges; this includes the use of e-cigarettes.
Kites l Remote control planes l Helicopters and drones
These are also not permitted.
Dogs
Dogs must always be on a lead whilst on the park. Please ensure you pick up your dog poo and dispose of this in the dog poo bins throughout site.
Electric cars
Should your lodge have one of our super sleek EV electric points fitted, please do use this to top up your charge. Our charge points are very easy to use and will mean that you should not have to lose time away from your holiday to keep your vehicle topped up!
Please follow the instructions on the front of the charger and download their app.
Fire Safety
Your lodge is equipped with a foam or powder fire extinguisher and fire blanket.
Please familiarise yourself with the usage instructions as soon as possible. Never tamper with fire equipment, as one day it may be needed in an emergency.
In the event of a fire :
1. Turn off gas & electricity supplies if safe to do so.
2. Evacuate property and alert neighbours if possible.
3. Raise the alarm by contacting us at reception on 01503 220220 or calling 999.
4. Do not re-enter property to collect personal belongings.
5. Evacuate to the fire assembly point and await further instructions. Please familiarise yourself with the fire safety notice which is located in the entrance hall of every lodge.
DO NOT TAKE RISKS – Your safety and that of your party are important.
Open water
We have several areas of open water on resort, which do not have barriers, so we kindly ask you to take care around these areas, never leaving children, young persons, elderly or vulnerable people unattended and proving supervision where needed at all times. Please ensure you are aware of the locations of the life rings, which are to only be used in an emergency.
Gas leak procedures
All gas appliances have been safety tested.
1. Do not smoke or use naked flames. Do not operate electric switches.
2. Turn off gas supply if possible (at the skirt of the lodge). Do not put yourself in danger.
3. Open doors and windows to disperse the gas as you evacuate the premises.
4. Contact us immediately on 01503 220220, please do not assume someone else will have.
Carbon Monoxide
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is potentially fatal and even low levels of the poison can cause lasting damage to your health. You can’t taste, smell or see it, but CO can kill quickly and without warning. Be aware of the following symptoms: headaches, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness and fatigue.
If the Carbon Monoxide alarm sounds, please vacate immediately and contact us on 01503 220220.
