Coronavirus update

We have successfully achieved the ‘we’re good to go’ industry standard and consumer mark in partnership with the tourist organisations of great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The mark shows we have implemented the Government’s COVID-19 reopening guidance, we understand the guidance from Public Health England and have a COVID-19 Risk Assessment in place along with a checklist of measures put in place.

We hope this will provide further reassurance to our local community, owners and holidaymakers that we have implemented clear processes to continue in providing a safe environment on park.

We fully appreciate that there may be some anticipation in travelling at this time and want to assure you that with the below parameters we are seeking for you to have a well-deserved, peaceful and safe break with us here at Charteroak.

Hygiene is a huge priority for us and the park and team members will be ensuring our superb cleanliness standards are maintained across the area. As well as asking our team, holidaymakers and owners to continue maintaining personal hygiene standards, regularly washing hands with soap and using a disposable tissue to catch any coughs or sneezes, we’ll also be implementing a number of enhanced hygiene measures on the park in order to reduce any risk of contamination in addition to social distancing parameters.

These include but are not limited to:

  • One-way systems introduced around the park where necessary
  • One-way systems within our offices (and which will include The Old Mill when re-open)
  • Enhanced cleaning procedures throughout both parks using approved sanitiser
  • Frequent deep cleaning and disinfecting of high footfall areas
  • Sneeze guards in the sales office and reception area
  • Social distancing Sales tours (set by appointment only)
  • Appropriate PPE for team members
  • Hand sanitiser stations at entrances and exits
  • Sheets, duvet covers & pillow cases washed at high temperatures
  • Contactless check in/departure process
  • Contactless payment systems upgraded to allow payments up to £45 (for the Old Mill when re-open)

We kindly ask that when you come to stay:

  • Only travel if you are fit to do so and you (or any member of your household) have not had any of the recognised symptoms of Coronavirus in the last 14 days.
  • Advise us if you are becoming unwell.
  • Should you become unwell, leave your accommodation and self-isolate at home, off-park.
  • When on park, respect and adhere to our safe social distancing and hygiene guidelines.
