We are searching for the ‘Spirit of Chateroak’. Whilst the Charteroak team take their roles very seriously, they do not take themselves too seriously and thoroughly enjoy what they do! We are hoping to evoke that same ‘spirit’ in visitors to the stunning holiday locations. All lodge owners and visitors are encouraged to submit ‘the best’ photo from their last visit to an annual competition. First prize will be a short break holiday for up to 4 guests in ‘Lakeview’, a 2 bedroom home with superb views over the lake and main bedroom with a hot tub outside the French windows! or ‘Lakeside’ a romantic one bedroom home with a four poster bed, hot tub and views of the lake. Second prize will be a hamper full of locally sourced goodies. Third prize will be a Charteroak sweatshirt. The images already posted have been submitted by the Charteroak team, just to get the ball rolling. They can be found on the “The Pictures” button above. Images and their accompanying short reviews should be amusing, beautiful, extraordinary or factual and reflect your holiday experience. We want to know the best places to go, best things to eat, people to meet, things to do etc.....be creative or encourage the children to use their ingenuity and win. Let us know what you enjoyed best. This will also serve as a guide to help future guests get the best from their holiday.

Submit your entry to the Charteroak email address on the “contact us” page and the best will be posted on the website. The submissions will be judged by the Charteroak team at their Christmas party. The winner will be announced on the last day at work before the Christmas break. If we are inundated, and we sincerely hope that we are, there will be a number of prize breaks. Have fun with this challenge and try to win another holiday for yourselves, or to give to friends. Extra credit will be given for inventiveness and creativity. There are no limits to the number of entries by any party. A few simple rules and conditions apply, such as arrival and departure times for the prize short break holiday etc. We can’t wait to see the results!
