Each Charteroak Estates development provides for lodge owners to let their property for holiday use should they choose to do so. However, all lettings must be conducted through Charteroak Estates. This is in order to prevent lettings to unsuitable tenants, thereby protecting the enjoyment of the location for all lodge owners. Charteroak Estates employ the services of established and reputable holiday letting agents. Benefit is gained by virtue of placing a number of lodges with one letting agent, thereby obtaining more prominent advertising and brochure space etc.
Holiday bookings in the UK are very strong due to: (1) people are preferring to stay in the UK for holidays, (2) ease of taking short breaks in the UK, (3) rising cost of air travel, (4) rising cost of foreign holidays due to euro exchange rate.
